ITINERARY "DUCALE"
- 3 days 2 nights

- 1st day Arrive in Gradara in
the morning. Guided tour of the Rocca, famous for the love story
between Paolo and Francesca, narrated by Dante Alighieri in his
"Devine Comedy"; accomodation and lunch at the Hotel in Senigallia.
In the afternoon, giuded tour of the old town and its most
beautiful monuments: Palazzo Baviera, Rocca Roveresca, Chiesa della Croce, Palazzo Mastai.
Return to the Hotel, dinner and accommodation.

- 2nd day: Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for the
medieval towns of Corinaldo and Mondavio. Stop in Urbino to
admire the works of famous artists like Botticelli , Raffaello
and Luciano Laurana in Palazzo Ducale. In the afternoon continue
to Urbania: linked to Urbino and ancient episcopal seat, it is
know for its Cemetery of the Mummies, its Baroque Cathedral and
Diocesan Museum. A breathtaking Forte stands in San Leo, where
the Count of Cagliostro died after 4 years in solitary
confinement. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel in Senigallia.

- 3rd day: Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for the
medieval towns of Corinaldo and Mondavio; lunch at the Hotel and
continue to Pesaro, hometown of the famous musician Gioacchino Rossigni;
viasit to Piazza del Popolo, Rocca
Costanza and Palazzo Ducale. Return home.

- 1st day: Arrive in Loreto in the
morning and tour of Piazza della Madonna, Palazzo Apostolico,
Santuario della Santa Casa, Sala del Pomarancio or Sala del Tesoro
and Museum – art gallery; lunch in a restaurant. In the
afternoon visit to Abbadia di Piastra where you can admire the
“Madonna col Bambino”. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.

- 2nd day: Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for the
medieval town of Corinaldo, visit to the house of St.
Maria Goretti; lunch in a restaurant and visit to the Monastry
of Fonte Avellana which is a Romanesque-Gothic church, situated
on the slopes of Mount Catria, where the poet Dante Alighieri
stopped. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.

- 3rd day: Breakfast at the Hotel and departure to Assisi,
visit to the Basilica of San
Francesco (Lower Church and Upper Church). Return home.

ITINERARY
AROUND THE "PICENO" AREA

days 2 nights
- 1st day: Arrive in Fermo in the morning and visit to Duomo, S. Francesco,
Natural Science Museum and Polar Museum, lunch and accomodation
at the Hotel in San
Benedetto or Grottammare. In the afternoon, continue to Offida
famous village where women continue the traditional pillow lace
art, tour of Palazzo comunale, Archaeological Museum and the
Church of St. Maria della Rocca. Accommodation and dinner at the
Hotel.

- 2nd day: Breakfast at the Hotel and departure
for Recanati, hometown of the poet Leopardi (Palazzo e Piazza
Leopardi), and Macerata which is famous for its typical
cuisine as well as for the Sferisterio: neoclassic open theatre (1820-29)
initially built to host the game of "Pallone col bracciale",
is now used for sport, as well as cultural and artistic (opera)
events. Lunch and continue to Tolentino; visit to the beautiful
Basilica of San Nicola from Tolentino and Castle of Rancia.
Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.

- 3rd day: Breakfast at the Hotel and departure
for San
Benedetto del Tronto, visit to the Fish Museum and Museo
della Anfore; lunch in a fish restaurant and continue to
Ascoli Piceno. Visit to the medieval town and its most
beautiful monuments. Palazzo dei
Capitani del Popolo, Duomo, Battistero and Piazza del Popolo.
Return home.
